Manda is a Clinical Consultant for Emberwood Center, advising our staff on clinical as well as administrative and development issues, as needed. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with a Masters in Social Work from IU School of Social Work and Bachelors in Psychology from IUPUC. She has experience in and enjoys working with adults, adolescents, and families to help heal from trauma, overcome addictions, and build meaningful relationships. Manda has a passion for helping others find hope in the midst of pain so they can improve their quality of life. She is constantly inspired by people’s strength, resilience, and ability to transform. Manda enjoys being a leader to support, guide, and help staff grow so they can be their best for the people they are working with.
She is nationally certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), certified in Crisis Intervention Stress Management, trained as a certified Circle of Security Parenting facilitator, and holds a certificate in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Skills Training.
Personally, Manda enjoys spending time with her husband, serving at church, and practicing hand lettering art.
