Lindsea has an associate license Mental Health Counseling. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Eastern Michigan University before obtaining her master’s degree with a focus in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling from Walden University. Lindsea became interested in working with addictions following her internship at the YWCA where she provided counseling in an individual, family, and group setting to women overcoming substance use and domestic violence. Lindsea also has extended experience working with developmental disorders and providing in-home therapy.
Lindsea utilizes mainly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused practices when working with clients, but she adapts her therapeutic approach to meet the needs of the client. Lindsea is eager to make a positive impact in the community and assist clients in achieving their individualized goals.
