Registered Art Therapist – provisional and Licensed Mental Health Counselor – Associate

Allie (she/her/hers) is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and Registered Art Therapist- Provisional. She received her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling and Masters in Art Therapy from Southwestern College in Santa Fe, NM and her Bachelors degree in Pre-Art therapy and a minor in Aging Studies from the University of Indianapolis. 

Allie has a passion for helping others on their journey through life, assisting each person to find their most authentic self and break free from anything holding them back from doing so. As a therapist, Allie approaches her work with clients with a combination of talk and creative processes. She uses interventions from evidence-based therapies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI), alongside more creative- based interventions to create an integrative approach to therapy that addresses the wholeness of an individual. 

Allie has training in a variety of clinical settings, including counseling and mental health centers, behavioral health settings, private practice, group homes and schools, working with a wide variety of client populations. It is her passion to help others through their process of healing and reaching fulfillment in life.
