Abigail (Abby) Alling, BS

Client Advocate

Abby’s areas of focus include community collaborations, curriculum development, recovery support, emotional support, and skills training. 

Abby graduated from Purdue University (West Lafayette) with a major in Human Services, a concentration in Addiction Studies, and minors in Psychology and Forensic Science. Her specializations have driven her desire to better understand the ways criminalization may impact those who are seeking mental health and substance use treatment. Abby spent her last semester of undergrad here at Emberwood and is eager to continue working with our clients as a full-time advocate. Abby’s passion for advocacy lies with victims of crime and individuals impacted by substance use. She continues to find herself inspired by the strength of her clients and is impassioned by individual’s recognition of ability to rise above all social expectations.
